What you will find inside art magazine?

In this issue, we take a closer look at new technologies, their development and the way they influence not only culture, but also our everyday lives.

This issue maps current trends and phenomena in art, culture and life and, therefore, it is like the mirror displayed on the front cover with a quotation from the work by the artist Wojtek Puś. The mirror reflects you, our reader, in the role of our indispensable audience for these specially curated pieces. Each of you, as a group and as individuals, is on the cover of our magazine.

In this issue, we will discuss how artists use state-of-art technology and what influence technology has on visual arts. We will present some powerful examples of art moving with the times and art as an element of posthumanist debate.

Contemporary Lynx is an arts organisation launched in January 2013 by art historians Dobromiła Błaszczyk and Sylwia Krasoń, registered in the UK with the offices in London and Warsaw. In 2013 Contemporary Lynx was created as a platform to encourage an appreciation and understanding of Polish contemporary art by a wide audience. Since then, the organisation has grown and evolved.

The Contemporary Lynx Magazine is published biannually.
