Jazz in the Jungle is about poor Oscar the Ocelot who is trying to swing. No matter how much he tinkles the ivories, he doesn’t feel like he can play.

With the help of his animal friends (who are obviously all jazz musicians) Oscar finds his confidence.

Picture book aimed at 0-7yr olds about Oscar the Ocelot who wants to play jazz. The jungle characters are all loosely based on jazz greats such as Oscar Peterson, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. The story is told in rhyme form with accompanying illustrations by artist, Ning-ning Li.
